The Emergence of Tsau!
The establishment of the eco-research camp begins
The development of the Tsau! White Lion Heritage site is the realisation of a long-held dream for Linda Tucker and the Global White Lion Protection Trust. There is, at last, a refuge for the first White Lions to be returned to the Timbavati area - Marah and her three cubs, Zihra, Regeus and Letaba.

The bush clearing team of Tsonga women say a prayer before beginning their work
Progress been made on the heritage site for the white lions. Vast tracts of bush-encroachment have been thinned on the White Lion Heritage site so that the bushveld can breathe and come to life again. It has been one step at a time, but now the predator-proof electric fencing has been erected and our trusted anti-poaching unit has been put into place, as well as fire-breaks burned under careful supervision, and erosion-control inititiated. The many skulls of animals which were hunted for sport on this property have been diplomatically relocated. We have also transformed the dreaded hunting camp into a place of serenity and beauty. Its function now is the eco-research camp, from where the white lions will be monitored and protected under 24 hour supervision.
