Indigenous elder representatives travel to the Greater Timbavati region from different parts of the globe to honor the White Lions and to offer guidance on the principles of responsible environmental management. Some of these principles date back to ancient times. However, in the face of the current ecological crisis, they are more relevant than ever. 

 

The Global White Lion Protection Trust is active in partnering local communities to create sustainable living conditions. This includes sustainable habitat management and wildlife conservation practices.
