A Time of Return, Resilience and Crown Celebration

In the aftermath of the recent floods, our Land and our People profoundly tested. There was much to indicate that our Lions understood better The Force behind this great purging. However, as waters raged through the northern territories of Malachite, sections of our perimeter fencing were washed down, allowing two of our great kings, Regna and Tsweli, to range beyond the safety of our protected lands into vast neighbouring territories.

What followed was an intense and worrying time, as tracking them across such extensive terrain was extremely challenging and the risks were many.

Through the unwavering support of our extended LionHearted family, including Wynter Worsthorne, and our trusted animal communicator professionals, we reached out with a clear and loving message: follow the river, follow the fence, and return to safety. A secure boma was prepared while over 40 kms of perimeter fences were restored. Within a week, Tsweli and then a few days later his brother, Regna, found their routing back with quiet sovereignty and calmly arrived back into safety, with other pride members. Their return was met with deep gratitude, a few quiet tears, relief and celebration.

At the same time, we are still reeling from the devastating impact of the floods. Our team is currently prioritising resources for the corrective actions needed to repair damaged infrastructure and ensure the continued safety and protection of our Lions. This work is essential and ongoing, as we stabilise the Land and secure the perimeter once more, always looking to Nature for guidance as to where we can improve our methodologies in her service.

Alongside this period of recovery, in the aftermath of the flood, we pause in deep joy to honour a sacred milestone. On 18 February, Nebu, Matsieng, and Zukhara – magnificent third generation of Queen Marah’s descendants – celebrated their Crown Birthday, turning 18 years old. This passage marks their entry into elderhood and honours the fullness of their presence and ongoing service as Wisdom Keepers.

Their beloved mother, Zihra, is 22 years old this year, alive and well. Her continued gracious presence governing over the territories is a living testament to resilience, lineage, and the quiet strength that holds this pride together.

Each of these Lions contributes far beyond the physical. Their energetic and cosmic service continues, especially during these times of rare and significant planetary alignment. Their work is felt and deeply appreciated, whether seen or unseen.
